Driver : David Jobusch
David Jobusch started his racing career when he was 12, racing a Margay Cheetah go-kart on a dirt track oval near his home town of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Unfortunately,
this did not lead to the NASCAR or Formula 1 career he and his father envisioned, so Dave turned his focus to turning his lifelong passion for playing with
technology into something that could pay for race rubber.
After earning his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from Iowa State University, David moved to Fort Collins, Colorado
in 1989 to work as a software engineer for Hewlett-Packard Company. He moved to Intel Corporation in 2005 to work as a VLSI design automation engineer.
He entered the Front Range motorsports scene in 2003, and enjoyed a strong rookie season, taking the RMSolo SCCA Novice Championship and winning his class in RMC
BMW CCA autocross. Starting with a 2000 Toyota Celica GTS in the STS class, he moved to BMW Power starting in 2005, where he’s been a regular trophy winner at
both local and National autocross events.
Now a certified Bimmerphile (he tracks an E36 M3, autocrosses an E36 325is, and daily drives an E39 M5), David is a sought after instructor at both SCCA
and BMW autocross and track events, Co-Chief Instructor for SCCA Club Time Trials, a BMW CCA Performance Driving Instructor Mentor in three chapters,
and a regular instructor at Tire Rack Street Survival programs at both BMW CCA and SCCA.
