Driver : Nick Caruso
Nick's earliest track experiences involve watching his father track a 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo at Lime Rock Park located in Northern Connecticut. While there he had access
to some unbelievable race cars in one of the most beautiful track settings in the country. This seeded a love and respect for not only going fast but for car control as well.
In 2006 Nick entered his 2002 Jetta 1.8T in his first ever autocross in the Street Modified category which allowed him to start testing his own driving skills. Needless to say the
schooling he received provided the motivation needed to better himself and his car for future competition. From there Nick had a series of improving seasonal class finishes,
culminating in his first Season Class win in the Street Modified Front Wheel Drive category in 2009. On the strength of his regional SMF win, Nick drove to a 4th place in SMF at the
Solo II national championships in Lincoln, Nebraska.
2009 also marked the beginning of Nick's Time Trials experience, where he was signed off on his first PDX lapping day, and where he continues to improve his driving abilities.
Nick has been an instructor at many Street Survival defensive driving clinics and began autocross instruction in 2009.
Nick's daily driver is a 2001 A4 2.8L.
